You can Make a Difference

While walking along a beach, an elderly gentleman saw someone in the distance leaning down, picking something up and throwing it into the ocean.

As he got closer, he noticed that the figure was that of a young man, picking up starfish one by one and tossing each one gently into the water.

He came closer still and called out, “Good morning! May I ask what it is that you are doing?”

The young man paused, looking up, and replied “Throwing starfish into the ocean.”

The old man smiled, and said, “I must ask, then, why are you throwing starfish into the ocean?”

To this, the young man replied, ” The sun is up and the tide is going out. If I don’t throw them in, they’ll die.”

Upon hearing this, the elderly observer commented, “But, young man, do you not realise that there are miles and miles of beach and there are starfish all along every mile? You can’t possibly make a difference!

The young man listened politely. Then he bent down, picked up another starfish, threw it into the ocean past the breaking waves and said, “It made a difference for that one.”

Just to make you see that all because you can’t help everyone doesn’t mean that you don’t need to still try to help someone.

Working from Home

 With the new styles and changes with the economy, many people are looking for the next big thing. Most people are looking in to working at home either full-time or part-time. For extra income or complete income. With the price of fuel going up all the time people are starting to think more about these internet jobs.

Some internet jobs do pay, while others seem to be a waste of money. The start with a membership fee, and don’t tell you that you are going to spend more money-getting signed up for this or that to get you business up and going. Yes someone is making money at it and a few will share that chance with you. Just keep in mind that Rom wasn’t built-in a day and I’m sure it cost something to build it too.

 Some of the best ways to make money is signing up with a company that gives you discounts and coupons to use and make money while you are using these offers. All lot of you internet jobs will involve marketing, blogging. If you are good at following directions you can do it. You should also expect 2-4 hours of being involved on the internet to do these jobs.
